“I believe my success story has just begun!” – Taibat’s story

Taibat tells us about her experience on the Restart Scheme and how she landed her ideal job at a known banking group. Hear in her own words how she accomplished her job goals:

“When I started my journey with the Restart Scheme, I wasn’t expecting anything other than the regular job search appointments and follow ups. However, I received great support beyond my imagination. From day one, my Employment Adviser, Jamie, was full of encouragement, and he saw something in me that I didn’t realise I had or wasn’t confident enough to own.

“He registered me for a couple of in-house courses with Skills Trainer, Derek. I completed Effective Job Search, Self-Awareness, Self-Confidence, CV Writing, and a refresh in Business Administration. These courses built my confidence and exposed me to a more effective and efficient way to land my dream job.

“Jamie also helped me to up skill by giving me access to paid courses like Sage 50 online, Payroll and Time Management and sessions on QuickBooks bookkeeping.

“In addition, he referred me to their Restart Scheme Executive Coach, Simone, who tutored me on how to maximise my LinkedIn profile to broaden my networking and helped me secure a customer service and operation analyst role at a bank.

“I am so glad to have secured this role and I am indeed grateful for all the support I received from my Employment Adviser and the whole team at the Restart Scheme.
