“An amazing journey so far” – Ryan’s story

Hear from Ryan about how landed his ideal job through the support provided by Restart Scheme Employment Adviser, Emma.

“Before coming to the Restart Scheme, I was very nervous but forced myself to go. Upon arrival I was politely greeted and didn’t have to wait long at all. Meeting Emma was a positive reinforcement that I needed, she supported my mental state and helped by just getting to know one another.

“We explored my work options and the hobbies that I enjoyed. Emma wasn’t just my Employment Adviser, but a therapist and someone who I could talk to when I needed. During my appointments, I was able to laugh and enjoy myself, and it didn’t take me long to come out of my shell because of how positive Emma and the Restart team were.
