Finding work after relocating – Andy’s story

Hear in his own words, how our Restart Scheme was able support Andy with finding his ideal career path, with guidance along the way.

“I had been unemployed for over a year, applying for jobs with limited success. I had recently moved back to the area from Northumberland.

“My Employment Advisers, Graham and Andzelika, have been very supportive throughout my time on the Restart Scheme. Together we looked at the training and courses available, and I was given access to an app that gave information and guidance plus so much more.

“I attended several courses including an over 50s session and a ‘Reinvent your CV’ course. These courses made me rethink my attitude towards my job search and gave me a new outlook on life.

“My Employment Adviser, Graham, has given me the confidence to continue my job search independently, after so many rejections at interview stage.
